Default what to buy ? need advise

well still in the market for a used 03,04 disc, quite a few out here in ontario most with 10000 to 180000 kms, looking at one with 180000 km complete engine rebuilt from atlantic british, guy works at a landrover shop, so apparently well maintanained grease fittings air suspension, etc, also there are a few with 120000 kms 13000kms have checked with landrover about service history both have been serviced by landrover 96000kms and 120 kms maintenance done, but there a bit cheaper around $8500 9500, while the one with 180000 is 11 -12 gran, any advise ? the lower kms looks really nice tan leather should i take a chance with the engine. just having a hard time spending 12 gran with something that has 180000 kms.

Does that rebuilt engine have any sort of warranty that would transfer to you?

Why dont you buy one down here in the states like a 03 that had a blown engine but truck inside is mint about $4-5k...put a new engine in yourself and still be under $10k...

no the engine now has 30000 kms on it so no warranty, getting one from the states sounds cheaper but lots of planing ahead.

New? Land Rover 4.6L Engine Fits Discovery Series II & Range Rover 4.6 (P38)

Big bucks. But it's a newer block than what any of the rovers came with.... they claim it fixes all of the problems.... who knows....
