Default Should I go heavy duty on fan clutch?

I’m replacing my water pump on the D2 with the 4.0 and am going to replace the fan clutch too. Since over heating seems to be one of the Achilles heels of these trucks and I live in Las Vegas where summers can be upwards of 120F, is it a good idea to just get a heavy duty fan clutch instead of the standard?

The Achilles heel is the bleed procedure.
many, even seasoned mechanics, dont get it right.
many think it's the thermostat...but it's actually the upper hose off the T and the angle of the heater hoses.

raising the bottle doesnt do squat.

changing the angle of the truck in general is what helps.

What fan did you pair up with that Hayden 2781? Or just the stock one?

I got the Dorman #620-112 fan and bolted it to the Hayden 2781 clutch.

I didn't bother checking if it fit or not.
My old fan had huge cuts in a couple of blades from the previous owner so I changed it out along with the clutch.

Yeah much safer bet to get a new fan blade at 25.00 vs having the original unit fly apart!!
