I'd just like to publicly give a shout out to the EXCELLENT customer service of Magnecor. I bought their 8MM Wires (S/N: 80242) for my 2003 Discovery 2, and installed them a few days after I got them. I had absolutely NO issues and LOVED the feel I got from the car compared to the stock wires. Anyways, after about 3 weeks of driving I started getting misfires on cylinder no.6 and for about 3 straight days I would try to troubleshoot the issue, until finally one night I got it into my garage and just by chance I opened up the hood before I turned on the light and saw a tiny spark arching from the wire to the SAI tubing. Apparently the heat wrap on the SAI had degraded to a point that it was basically useless and had melted the outside of the wire. I promptly replaced the wire with the stock one (ALWAYS keep the ones you replaced unless they are for sure bad for a few months after a change out!) and put some new DEI heat wrap on the SAI tubing. Anyways, back to the point of this post, I immediately sent Magnecor an email explaining my situation, without hesitation they sent me a new wire completely free of charge in less than 5 days from when I first contacted them (it would have been quicker had I been able to contact them early last thursday before they had closed, I'm sure of that). This is what GREAT customer support is all about! A very big thank you to Magnecor, and another endorsement of their fantastic products on this forum!
