Side Mirror
Left the Rover in a parking lot in Philly while on my way to a 5K Cancer walk at the Art Museum area. Came back to my car to find my driver's side mirror folded in. Hmm... I like to think it was unintentional.
It seems someone or something busted the spring mechanism that holds the mirror in place. I can fold the mirror in and out without tension. I had to fold up a matchbook and jam it in the mirror housing to keep it from flopping around.
Is there any way to repair the spring tensioner? I checked RAVE, but it only shows how to remove/refit. Thanks.

Good morning my friend
think 50 years ago the person that broke your mirror would have left you a note of how to contact them so they could pay for the damage, not today. I have a mirror if your interested if you could do 50 bucks i will get it in the mail today!

Back in the day I wouldn't have been surprised to have found a note under my wiper. I feel confident in saying that there still are people in this world that do the right thing. I consider myself on of those individuals. **** happens.
I got the note, popped it back in, and it's been fine ever since.
There are still responsible, courteous people out there.
