siezed rear wheel
I have spent the best part of 6 hours going from shop to shop trying to get my rear wheel removed. I have a flat tire on the passanger rear. However nobody seems able to remove the wheel.
The lug nuts come off but the wheel will not budge. Does anyone have any ideas. One of the guys at a shop told me that it looks as if something has been glued!!!!!! I can believe this but I am at a loss.

It happens and why rotating your tires is critical. Pretty much the aluminum wheel has welded to the steel hub. Your best bet is to get a couple pieces of 4x4 and a bottle jack. Put 1 tire in the air, use the short 4x4 to protect your good wheel and use the jack and the longer 4x4 to force off the wheel. You could also try t loosed the lug nuts and drive slowly and brake and that sometimes loosens the wheel though you have a flat so not sure if you want to try that.
The wheel will need to be forced off, I have seen people use a piece of 2X4 against the wheel and beat it with a large sledge hammer.
Once off, sand thew entire surface of the hub before reinstalling the wheel. Better do it to all the wheels to make sure.
