Default The Simple Questions Thread

If this already exists somewhere I apologize but it seems to extremely popular on other automotive forums. It's just a thread for asking simple questions that need a quick answer and not necessarily a long discussion you'd expect in a thread of it's own.

I'm new here, new to land rovers, and I have a lot of questions. Often I waste hours trying to find an answer for something simple that could have easily been immediately answered by someone more knowledgeable.

Is there a Bosch 4.6 coil relocation option?

Anyone sell headers for the same (that don't require mods to the AC lines!)?

There is, it requires plug wire modification as well as harness modification.

The Hedman RRC headers are a direct fit, no modification necessary.

look for a mustang coil relocation kit, they use the same coils. I have pic some where.
dusty1 i believe used D1 Hedman headers, but you have to coat them otherwise the steel tubes will rust from the inside

I tried everything I can think of and the drivers door lock actuator still doesnt work properly. It locks but doesnt unlock. I tried 3 other actuators and they all do the same thing.
so the question is if I open the front passanger door and split every wire from the actuator and run them to drivers door and connect it to the actuator, would it work?
So basically whenever the passanger door unlocks or locks, drivers door is gonna do the same thing.

^I wish I could help but I'm pretty terrible with everything electrical.

Before I start taking things apart can someone tell me if this metal piece can easily be removed for cleaning and painting?
