Default Size of oil/transmission cooler hard lines for compression fitting

Hopefully this is an easy fix for a common issue on D2's, I saw antichrist's post about doing this - https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...r-lines-54714/
I'm going to replace my transmission and oil cooler lines (rubber lines attaching to coolers) with a compression fitting to hose barb adapter so I can have something easier to replace in future and hopefully easier to fix than replacing the whole line. I'll then get some high pressure rubber hose and stainless steel clamps to secure the hoses.
My question is, does anyone know the size of compression fitting I will need to attach on the hard hose? Maybe someone has done this before....
I don't have any caliper gauges to measure the size of the hard hose so I was hoping someone else might know.
