I had a similar problem with my 2001 DISCO. I would say this after owning it for over 10 years now. Assuming your engine is healthy with no water loss near the throttle body, no radiator leak or head gasket. Most of time, a little bit of coolant would be lost from the overflow tank. A littl bit of it would "shoot" out of the overflow tank tube. The coolant would evaporate upon hitting a hot surface inside the engine bay.

I have not driven it for more than 20 miles lately for about 6 months. Yesterday, I took it out to santa monica (20 miles trip0 and when i came back, i see some hot water was seen on the passenger floor. Do not know where the source of the leak is, possibly heater hoses (crossing my fingers)? anyone here has similar leak problem?
