Default Small coolant leak

On my 03 HSE7 151K miles.
I have a very small coolant leak on the 03. I got underneath and looked around and I THINK I might have found it. It looks like it may be coming from the short bottom hose. Its looking a little ratty and there’s a drip of coolant hanging on the clamp. Is this a common weak spot?

I’ve seen a few of those lower short hoses get pinholes in them, spring clamps fail due to rust, or get wet from the water pump weep hole.

My wife's 03 cracked at that location. Don't touch it until you get a replacement piece, because it will only get worse. That connector can be found at Lucky 8 and it comes with all the hoses.

Found the slight leak. Looks like the water pump gasket is failing. Tightened down the bolts and stopped the leak for now. Will get to it after the misfire is fixed. LOL!!
