Default OK...

I have the water, smoke and sweet smell on start up as well, goes away after a few minutes. Truck runs fine, idle is good and i am not losing any coolant (haven't added any in a year). Oil is normal with no milkiness or cloudiness, gets changed every 3-4K (rotella T6 5w-40). Temp doesn't go up above the standard middle, I drive about 45miles per day.

You guys are making me nervous, I just figured it was condensation collected in the exhaust from sitting over night. It only happens in the mornings before work. I will take the coolant cap off tonight and see what it smells like...just when you think its safe to go back in your disco...

FYI...You can get a kit to test for exhaust gases in most auto parts stores. If you're taking it to a shop, I'd make sure that it's a good Rover mechanic before telling them to do any work on your truck. If they aren't familiar with Rovers they could end up doing more harm than good...
