Default Smoother ride

How can I get my DII to drive smoother? I noticed a huge difference in the engine, after I did the throttle body cleaning. I also just did the spark plugs and wires. Anything else to get a smoother drive and better acceleration?

New shocks and springs, replace any other worn out suspension parts, check your air pressure, the harder your tires (more PSI) the rougher the ride, to soft and you lose MPG and ride quality once a gain.
If you have 18" rims switch to 16" rims, this will offer a soother ride.
As far as acceleration, you drive a 5,000lb brick.
Unless you drop it off a cliff she ain't goin' any faster.

So, how many miles on your truck, what size tires and what air pressure are you running?

I noticed a big difference in the smoothness when I went from the road to a mud hole. So much smoother in the mud

My Rover has 127k on the clock and even with springs sagging almost an inch and a half she still rides smoother than all my friends little Hondas and Toyotas.
