Default Can someone check their ride for me?

I have a wire from the passenger front side comes out of the area where the headlight is kinna. Its about maybe ten inches long and looks like its suppose to be attached somewhere but is just loose. Its got just somekind of plastic end on it. Maybe like a temp sensor or something. Can someone look at theirs and see where this wire is suppose to be attached for me. Thanks

here's a long shot, but worth a try, is this it?

notice the location of the pulleys at the front of the motor. also, this is the 2.5L

from what i could tell it looks like a temperature sending unit, but i'm not a mechanic for foreign cars, i work on old fords.
