I've been searching the web for different Disco 2 Snorkel prices and ideas. I have to ask "Why the hell are disco 2 snorkels so much more expensive then all others"?. Average price in North America seems to be around 4 to 5 hundred dollars. The sonrkel itself looks no more techically different from a jeep snorkel or disco 1 snorkel, but they are way more expensive. What am I missing?
Also I can't be the 1st guy thats asked this but will a disco 1 snorkel fit a disco 2.....someone must have tried. I'm not so concerned about exact fitting to the air intake, I can always modify that somehow. I'm talking more the outside fit and angle on the windshield.

High Prices are probably due to the limited demand and less than a handful of manufacturers.

As to your DI-->DII snorkel fit question : You can make anything fit with enough skill and money, but direct bolt on, NO.
