I get “Landcruiser” all the time. I need that terrorists drive Toyota sticker

 

When I put an aftermarket steel rear bumper on my D2 a number of years ago, I bought the hood lettering “LAND ROVER” in silver and carefully applied it to the bumper.

The truck is now labeled from and rear, LAND ROVER! Plus the window decal, “Best 4x4xFar”.

If they still get it wrong after that, I just shake my head and smile….

 

 

I got pulled over one night (driving 04 D2) very late around 12:00 midnight by an officer , my bad I was doing like 75 in a narrow straight road (35 speed limit) but no one around & had my family with me, officer was nice enough to let me off with a warning ticked after checking regestration & insurance papers ,
I kept that ticket as suvenier , it written to a 2004 Toyota Land Cruiser , me and family had a good laugh afterward , but thankful to nice officer not giving me a ticket,,
I guess a lot of people don’t know what it is.

 

I've never had anyone call the Dll a jeep. Really, the two don't even look similar.

 

I think some people mistake them for a Jeep Cherokee.

 

I think some people think J**p means 4x4.
I once had a kid look at my Series 2 and tell me “your J**p is ugly”. I was more offended by the word J**p than ugly.

Well I just joined the Jeep group! How does a Jeep owner call it a Jeep?

At least I did get a compliment last week, a guy thought it was newer and asked how I like the depth sensors in the side mirrors. Told him I was lucky to be able to adjust the mirrors!

 

I would call it a J**p.
