Sometimes, it's not the roller. Window Motor breakdown with solution!
So my passenger window stopped working. And all the searches said "most likely it's the nylon roller(s) broken".
That is usually the case, however...sometimes your window motor breaks...
In this instance, the window motor was operating. I could hear it. I took it to the battery and tested it. The gear even moved....something wasn't right so I disassembled the motor and found the problem. The first photo is with the problem illustrated and the motor torn completely down for those that can figure it out without the additional pics.
This next photo is the motor partially disassembled so you can see how it goes together
The cause:
So the white gear moves the shaft when that black bushing is not broken. If the bushing is broken, then when you put the slightest bit of torque on the motor, the external gear will not move.
So basically, to fix this you can buy a new/reman power window motor, OR, fill the space where the old bushing goes with resin...which I happen to have so I'm going use It

Yeah, Alex_M and I have documented the same problem here in this forum. In my case I just went ahead and replaced the motor. I wasn't in a position to have the time to try a repair. Please let us know how that works out for you.
Like you, I could hear the motor running but it didn't move the window. I removed the motor and with no load on it the motor and its gear turned fine. But if any load was applied to the gear the hub would spin.
Update, got it in and now it works very slowly. Making sure the glass is In the track, etc. I have determined that the electrical portion of the motor is also bad.
