Just replaced the tailgate window regulator in my 02 Freelander V6. However when I was swapping the motor over to the new regulator I realized the plastic gear that attaches to the motor was broke as well. I can not seem to find that part anywhere, or the motor replacement for that matter either. The motor works and would love to be able to just replace the gear if possible. Does anyone know of anywhere I could find it (preferably in the US), or even the whole motor with the gear installed? If not does anyone know if one of the front door window motors would work? They seem to be the same, but I have not pulled one apart to compare the gear. I would assume one of them is since no manufacturer or resaler ever mentions anything about the tailgate window motor.
