With some tips from Mike, I just finished inverting my spare tire mount. While I was at it, I installed a cb antenna on it too. Looks awesome! The invert wasn't too bad. The worst part was taking off the panel on the door. The mount fits back on but only with 4 bolts instead of 6 (01 Disco II). Got a Wilson antenna and a quick disconnect for it. Antenna wire fit right in the grommet for the washer fluid and I have it in the cargo area now. Any suggestions on how to get it from the cargo area (inside the wheel well) to the front? Hopefully the cb will get here this weekend!

 

Run your coax under the carpet along the edge, you can just lift up the edge of the carpet.
