Exclamation Spark plug gap question

So, I just changed the original Champion spark plugs in our 02 Discovery (also had to do new wires, coil, and a head job at 83K miles, yea the people that owned it before us did not take care of it, so I had 2 cylinders leaking down). When I changed the spark plugs out, I referred to my RAVE CD for the proper gap width. The CD said to not gap the spark plugs. Is this right? I got some Denso Platinums. I did some Google research and found that there is a gap size out there for the 02. An answer from someone who actually knows would be great.

Thanks as always,

Ryan

It is .038-.041 or 1mm. I actually just gapped mine to .053 and I'm going to change the plugs this weekend, just to test it out.

They come pre gapped.
Becareful when trying to gap Iridium plugs as the electrode is very thin and may snap off.
