RE: Spark Plug and Wires Question
I took the advice and now have the crankshaft (CKP) sensor.
I was looking at the procedure and it is saying that I need to:
9. Reset adaptions using TestBook.
How do you reset the adaptions? I assume TestBook is a computer that can adjust the ECU right? Can most workshops do this? I would like to stay away from the dealer. Can I reset the adaptions myself or at a autozone?
Also it says to:
4. Release fixings and remove underbelly panel.
whatexactly is the underbelly panel. I am having a hard time getting my hands up to the sensor connector but have not raised the front end yet. tha may give me some room I hope.
Thanks for the help and advice from everyone.
Happy New Year.

RE: Spark Plug and Wires Question
Thanks.
I know what you are talking about the underbelly cover now. Mine is still on but if I'm not mistaken itis forward of where the cranksensor is. Disco Mike said some of the other owners remove theirs with no problems and that it may even allow for better cooling in another post.
As far as removing and replacing the sensor, I am having a heck of a time getting my hand up to the sensor to disconnect the connector and just wanted to know if there are any tricks to getting at it a little easier.
Again, I appreciate the help.
