I'm currently running NGKs that seem to work pretty well. I can go yank one and take a 20k wear picture for you. I'm kinda curious myself, because the Reddit land rover guys said they'd be dead by 20k in this engine.

Please post your plug part numbers, makes it easier for those considering going outside the box. Not sure if the platinum versus copper is much of a difference, besides cost. I have an old Porsche 928 and the consensus was that Copper was a lot better for this engine and that platinum plugs were just a cost waste. Your thoughts?

Ok, the plugs are NGK BPR5ES. I didn't have the number until I pulled the plug. Here are the pictures with 20k of use.

Those plugs look good for 20K. This is why I believe in Copper Plugs. I may go this route.

After trying several others (E3, NGK, Denso, Bosch, etc.) there is no doubt Champion runs best in my 4.6. Double Platinum 7070 (RC11PYPB4)

I got some Bosch Platinum's from Amazon that cost about $4 each, but they had a $4 mail in rebate so the final cost was $0. I don't have any issues with them. I don't find the LR engine anything special for spending any more money on it.

Stock NGK's or Champions.
None of those small micro point gimmick spark plugs like Bosch. Those are junk.
