The recent saga of the sticky rear door locks made me think -- I seem to recall that on my previous Disco II, the doors automatically locked once the car was moving forward in drive. On my current Disco (2002) that doesn't happen.

Am I mis-remembering, or is something amiss on this one?

 

You are correct, the dealer can turn this feature on/off for you for free.
Look in the owners manual first though, it might be in there.
