Default SPEED BLEEDERS

Welcome back Mike, O.K. guys, I am looking for speed bleeders, I found some different places to buy them. but. I need to know what size the bleeder thread size is, for a 2000 disco II. If I can find them cheap enough, they might be worth it. so far, 11.99 for 2 -14.99 for 2 are rear bleedersdifferent from the fronts? Has anyone used them?
Thanks Gents

What are speed bleeders??????????????????????
Are you wanting to bleed your brakes, if so the 4 calipers have the same size bleeder valves.
If it is for the brakes, why rush thru bleeding them, are you using a pressure bleeder? Still need to watch the fluid till you get all the old fluid out.

Hello Mike, Speed bleeders, Are bleeder valves with a ball bearing inside of them. basically, it makes it a one man job. all you have to do is open the bleeder get in the car and pump out the old fluid. you dont have to close the bleeder valve every time you pump up the brakes. a spring and ballbearing inside of the bleeder valve allows the fluid and airout but will not allow anything back through the bleeder.I am told it makes things go much faster, when changing out old fluid. you know,I had a feeling you would be theone to get back to me. Did you post any pic's yet, from yourlastest adventure.

I use the cheap $3 bleeder that any parts store has (just got done using it actually) all the time. It's just a tube that can fit over the bleed screw (it has a plastic cone adapter that fits into it too) and a small bottle for the fluid to run into. I've never had a problem with it.
