I slapped it in & it hasn't done it since. Most of the time it never threw a code until that one time and I had my scangauge II connected and caught it before a key cycle. Up until that freaky business I've never had a Purge Control Valve on a Bosch V8 ever do that.

I've heard plenty click loud (Bosch Unit's), and still work fine, and then I've had them just up and die. I normally always use the Hyundai Replacement vs Bosch, but this time I was able to grab one locally for cheap.
What’s the info on the Hyundai unit?

Thanks Best! Sorry, I was out and around and being too lazy, distracted to look it up.

Going to check out and re-clean my IACV today, install the purge valve when I get it.

The Purge Valve tube to the Throttle Body was totally loose when I did my HG job. I have it in there solid now, and I wonder if that is causing the Purge Valve to malfunction because it is actually being used. The pipe was completely losse, would just pull in and out.

I have the IACV off and gave it a cleaning with Brakekleen and sea foam. You can see on the hose a lot of oxidation which implies moisture and air to me. The other side has zero. I am putting some worm gear clamps on to see if it is simply a vacuum leak here.
