there were a few discovery 1's with manual transmissions, but youll have a better bet lookin at the pre-96 models even...VERY few of them exist....the auto tranny is not 'bad' per se, why do you NEED the manual?
hey, welcome to the forums... i've got a 5 speed white disco with 116,xxx miles and i'm in the seattle area... i'd probably take 7k for it... it's got a brush guard, piaa fog lights, roof rack, genuine ladder and hydraulic step, the front 2 seats are recaros, almost like racing seats, it runs like a champ... I've taken it offroad once and it's a beast, kept up with a rubicon with air lockers... shoot me a message or email if you're interested in pictures or if you are in the seattle area...
I won a bet with my Dad in a school course if i get a 95% in my shop course he'll uy me a vehicle, and iwant a landrover and im 16 so it will be my first vehicle but my paretns said i have to have a standard to learn. NEWtoDISCO, if you could email me those pics it would be great, i emailed you but if you didnt get it please let me know!
I like the 5 speed too. I had a 96 DI but it was involved in a crash and was not able to find a replacement and had to settle for an auto. I was for a while considering swapping transmissions and would still like to, if I could. Hope you find what you want.
