Default Steering wheel jerk, vibration

I have a couple of issues I am looking for some insight on my 2000 Disco.

1st) When both accelerating/decelerating around 50-55 mph I can feel a vibration in the pedals, any ideas?

2nd) When braking, on occasion the steering wheel will jerk back and fourth rapidly, ideas? (Brakes?, I do have the "3" lights on my dash illuminated)

Thanks for any help

How many miles on your truck, have you replaced your steering stabilizer, have you checked your steering line from the steering wheel to the gear box to make sure nothing is loose, tie rod ends and all the bushings????
