If I took my time I could make it look a lot better, but this was in a few minutes while the kids were in the bath. If you're cheap, and want something functional, I'd definitely go this route. No way I'm going to look for a new wheel now.
I think it looks pretty good myself. The only thing I'm worried about is those pesky side pieces by the air bag. But nice job!!!

Thanks, guys. I had to start and stop a couple times, and didn't figure out how to cinch things down real well until halfway through, but all in all I really like it. And I like how thick the wheel is too.

I'm going to do the rest of the wheel as well and I'll post up pics as I finish it.

Well, I finished it. Again, not perfect, but I'm pretty happy with it for what the vehicle is and the time/$$$ invested.

I didn't try to do the little sections I left open, and actually kinda like it like this. My hands hurt a bit as cinching each wrap down tears up on your fingers, but again, not really a big deal.

If you aren't a total psycho on aesthetics, and are a cheap punk like me, then I'd say give it a go.

Yep I have my black paracord and will do one of my spare wheels this weekend. I think it looks like it belongs on a D2 IMHO.

Geez, I must be really hard on myself as I think it looks utlitlitarian at best. If I took my time (read: didn't have a 1 and 4 year bugging the #%*£ out of me every 5 seconds), I probably could have made it look pretty slick, but alas, this is my minivan, so I shouldn't complain.

Yeah there are benefits to being Mr Mom for the time being (I think I earned it after close to 20 years in the Silicon Valley), but my patience certainly get tried. Although, being a professional project manager isn't much different.

One word for Best4x4: I think it might be a bit of a bear to do with the wheel off as you won't have much leverage to cinch down the wraps.

Stereo gets delivered today also. Geez, this thing might turn into a decent driver soon enough! All that's left is resolution of the 3 Amigos and a bunch of other cosmetic stuff in the interior.

I plan on installing the old one, then do it.
