Default Sticky Ignition

Odd thing happened yesterday. I turned ignition, it started, but stuck a little. Meaning the key in the ignition stuck in the "start" position. Therefore it continued trying to start, after it already fired. If I back the key off after it fires, it's fine. So basically i'm manually returning the key to the 2nd position, it's not going there on it's own.

Thoughts, suggestions? Thanks guys.

use the graphite lube only on the lock mechanism, WD will mess it up.. Might be getting time to replace the ignition switch. Take all of your other keys off your keychain. The switch went out in my bro's Cherokee, and he couldn't figure out why. I knew as soon as I saw his wife's keychain. It had the rear metal pad from a tap shoe on it..... Heavy keys wear out the cylinder.

Will try graphite. I only have 4 keys and nothing else. Nothing fancy, just keys.
