I'm no expert but, could this be the crank position sensor acting up? I think it would store a code for that, wouldn't it?

From what I've seen on this forum, crank sensor failures seldom set codes.

Although mine has never thrown codes, I know that my crank sensor doesn't like to get wet. My road floods every spring with the thaw and there is only one way in. Best of luck with your problem.

I know it may be a long shot but you could have got some water up onto the plug wires. I had a small leak in a coolant line and got some on the plug boot. It boiled over and arced to the valve cover. Once it dried it was not a problem. Just throwing it out there.
