Default Stupid question

Hi. I've been looking at Land Rover Discovery's for a while, and my husband surprised me with a 2002 today. The ad said it had a 6-disc CD changer, but we can't find where it's located. It's dark outside now or I'd be looking for it. There's a spot underneath the console on the back side that looks like it has a spot for one, but I didn't see it in there.

Look under the passenger seat...there is a compartment that should have the changer in it.

Take a flash light and look inside the compartment, you may or may not have one; it may just be a small glovebox type space. I bought a 2003 from an individual who only owned it for a few months and thought it had a CD changer but no CD cartridge. Come to find out it had a little box/storage compartment but no CD changer. I think it was a legitimage mistake from the guy who I bought it from, he just never looked closely. If your remove the whole cowling under the seat you can unscrew the small box/compartment in order to have access to a CD changer if you install one.

That being said, if you do not indeed have one you can probably pick up one one Ebay or other lists, just make sure it is one that will work with your stereo, i.e Alpine=Alpine, etc. The wiring harness is there it just needs to be installed properly.
