Default Success!!! & Opinion on some Codes

Hey Guys,

First of all I want to say thank you to all y'all for helping me work through some Starting issues that were successfully resolved... it was the Crank Shaft Position Sensor! Thanks!

I also just an Ultragauge, and it rocks.

However, It immediately gave me some new readings on Trouble Codes and Pending Trouble Codes that I wanted your opinion on. Mind you that the CEL was not on.

P1590 - I am notified of this every minute or so while driving until I suspend the alarm.

Pending codes:
P1171 pending
P1174 pending

What do you guys think?

Some pending codes appear, then don't occur again and eventually drop off. A number of codes require 2 or 4 "happened agains" to turn on the CEL.

1590 - three amigos riding hard to catch up with you.

1171 / 1174 - ECU has adjusted as far as it can for variations in what is computed for fuel mix and what is actual. Look for vacuum leaks past the MAF sensor (un-metered air). Always good idea to check air filter, clean out PCV system, throttle body. If cleaning MAF use a made for MAF spray only when cold.

IIRC we have Spike to thank for the dash mount obsession - and a gallon bottle of Malox should come with each one, to calm your stomach.
