Default Sun Roof Leak

I am fairly certain have a leak between the sun roof and the roof. I can slip a piece of paper between them, the drivers floor is wet when it rains and the fuse box stays dry. The drain hoses are in good shape and clear.

Can I loosen the 14 screws that hold the frame to the glass assembly enough to get sealant under the frame with out removing the headliner? Would removing the visors, center trim and perhaps the A/B pillars give me enough room?

I have already recovered the head line and I am not looking forward to dropping it again, I only need an 1/8" or so get some sealant in there.

Any advice?

...sorry to rain on your parade, but best course of action is the long way, by removing the headliner, and everything that's on the way; it will be more time, but less cursing. Good luck!

I pulled my headliner a couple of weeks ago. I don't see how you could get to the sunroof tray screws with the headliner in place.
Just dropping the headliner as you suggest might allow you to reach the screws though. Pretty sure that's what I did when I had to do a similar sealing job on my '99.

Thanks, that not what I was hoping for.
