I am going to try what S Buzz did with his sunroof on my 99 by sealing the SunRoof gasket with silicone. I looked at the sunroof and the Rave. Can the glass be removed very easy without removing the whole sunroof? and more importantly be reinstalled without having to perform too many yoga positions? It looks very straightforward but that is how I always get in trouble with Land Rovers.
I would like to seal the whole gasket but can't get too it without removing the glass.
Should the SR be closed when reinstalling ?
The gasket is very dusty Im sure that doesn't help either.
The drains are so small I'm sure they can't handle too much water. It rained 2"yesterday on the 4th of July??? I nearly drowned when I took off.
Also should I just use Lithium grease to lube rails?
