you know, thinking about it. I have never tried the key in the lock in the almost 7 years I have owned my Disco. I should give it a try just to make sure I do not wind up in a similar situation.

 

Dealing with a similar issue -- the truck is in super lock and won't respond to the key fob. I replaced the key fob battery, so I know that is not the problem. The truck battery is fully charged -- I know because I've got the battery charger hooked up at the starter wire terminal and showing 100% charge. The red alarm indicator light on the dashboard flashes continuously 1x per second. Any advice?
