Default Sway Bar Disconnects.

Hi all,

I was given a set of disconnects for my Disco2 a while back. I was then told I could not use them because I have the ACE system.

My first question is.. Is this true?

If so... Will they work on a D1. I will give them to my buddy if so.

Thanks,
Jeff

No they won't work on a D1 because the sway bar design on a D2 is completely different. Yes you can use disconnects with ACE. Question is why do you need disconnects with ACE? From the factory ACE equipped trucks have more suspension travel than with standard sway bars.

Tom,
You can't use quick disconnects on the ACE bars, the ECU will go cray and the sway bars will beat the under carriage to death unless you went into the ECU and shut the system down, along with pulling the fuse.

At least I was right about them not working on a D1.
