Default T Hose Bleeder Screw, did somebody say a that BMW sold the replacements?

I had a new radiator put in yesterday. The mechanic overtightened the bleeder screw on the T for the hoses and it cracked. I am now loosing coolant from the the bleeder screw.....if it isn't one thing on this it is another....I recently read but could not find a thread that BMW sells a replacement bleeder screw that will fit the Discovery style bleeder assembly. Does anyone know if that is the case. If so, do you know the year and model of the BMW that it I should reference? The local LR dealer only sells the complete hose set for $70.

Thanks leaking in my office garage, already had two people come in and tell me that my truck is leaking...Phil

Thumbs up

YES, BMW does carry the bleeder screw.

I went to the local BMW dealer, the guy pulled out the part and I was on my way. In addition to the vehicles listed by Jordan, it is also the bleeder screw from a late 90s 3 series. I bought two of them just in case, $3.75 each. While I was there, there was a guy that used to work at the LR dealer. He told me that there is a billet T and bleeder that will work. He thought is was available from a BMW aftermarket source.

I will see on the way home if the screw was the fix or if I will need to replace the entire fitting. Dang.

Just a word of Advise.. DO NOT Over tighten the SCREW that is the cause for failure in about 99% of the screws..
