Default tail light harness

I got a new trailer and has all the plugs for the turn signals and the stop lights. my question is does LR make specific harness that goes with the Discovery? or can any U-Haul outlet can install one? Please help.
Thank you

I'm sure the dealer would be glad to sell you one for $689.56 plus tax, shipping, environmental impact fee, haz mat disposal fee, shop supplies fee, and parts wrangler donut fee.

In a D1:

But you should find connector C400 inside the compartment behind the cargo area light by the back door. RAVE electrical manual shows a 7 pin connector, as follows:

1 - Red/orange - Right side lights
2 - Green/purple - stop lights
3 - green/white - right turn
4 - green/red - left turn
5 - black - ground
6 - red/yellow - rear fog
7 - red/black - left side lights

There is also mention of a reverse light in the RAVE, but pin location is strange, you would have to check that. Most trailers don't need a reverse light, but it comes in handy on ones with hydraulic brakes that have a defeat soleniod for backing up a ramp. Not sure if Rover changed this pin out for the D2.

Land Rover Discovery II Trailer Wiring Kit - Order Trailer Wiring Kits & Other Land Rover Parts At RoverParts.com is what I got to get trailer lights working on my D2 which had no trailer package. I also bought a Multi-Tow® 7:4 Adapter :: Hopkins Towing Solutions to use when I borrowed a friends trailer that had a 7-way plug. I just zip tied it to the hitch for temporary use, but plan to actually wire it in and permanently mount at some point in the future.

*some point in the future=when I have to tow something with trailer brakes.

I bought a universal kit for seperate brake and turn signals for about $20 at Walmart. I pulled the wires through the back and just spliced into the OEM wiring. If it is done right you will have trailer lights in about 20 minutes. You can always buy the light kit from AB for about $80 which is just plug and play. I was in a hurry though and could not wait for shipping so I was hooked to the boat ASAP.
