Default Terrafirma +2 lift

Okay I decided on the Terrafirma +2 lift kit with Hd springs in the front and MD springs in the rear. I want to have the same distance between tire and body front and back. Will this set up do that? Does anyone else have this?

Hard to say but if not you can always install some thickness of spacer to level it out.

I do not have that exact 2" TF lift setup, but I have the OME MD 2" Springs and TF+2 shocks just installed. I would guess from my personal experience and what I have read about TF springs you may be a little higher in the front until you put a winch in your ARB winch bumper with the HD springs up front and the MD in the rear. You can add the D1 spring perches in the back for cheap, if you get them used from Wilson or Paul Grant or whoever. They just sit in place of the D2 perches and are easy to install while doing the lift. Buying them new is still cheap as well from AB, EE, or Rovers North. That will give you about 1/2" more lift in the rear. I picked up a set and cleaned them up a bit and a few coats of Rustoleum black to protect them.

Hopefully someone with more firsthand knowledge can give you a little more exact information, but I thought I would throw in my 2 cents.

Mike and Hokie thanks for your replies, much appreciated as always. I talked to Justin at Lucky 8 and he sells the kit for $550 shipped, I then called AB and they sell it for $579 shipped but they will give me 10% off for a military discount. I would rather buy from JUstin just because he is an independent so I think I will ask if he will price match. I love this forum, it is such a wealth of information and knowledge. Mike you are tough but you are a straight shooter and you have helped me more than anyone else. I when doing my head gaskets called you and you while watching a game gave me information to finish the job. You guys are awesome and I appreciate you. THANK YOU!!!

Please come back and post pics of your set-up. Im curious to see the stance w/ HD springs upfront w/ MD springs in the rear.

I installed TF MD springs front and rear w/ +2"shocks and ended up addining D1 perch plates in the rear for a subtle rake. My truck does not sit level. Thats what I wanted. I should mention that I have an ARB bull/winch front bumper.

I just ordered 1"spacers front and rear. I want more lift after having mounted 32" tires.

Curious to see your set-up.

I have a thread on here w/ before and after pics if you wanna see my setup. PM me and I send you the links and pics.

Buy the OME lift, over all I believe you will be a lot happier.
Will you be using a winch, if so, 779 front coils and 762 rears.

I have the TF +2 lift with Medium springs. From the day I installed it to now, the rear is slightly higher, I am ok with that. My brother with the OME 2" HD lift is pretty level, so who knows.
