Would a 3" lift require any additional parts like extended brake lines, axle regearing or steering components?

To be safe you would probably want to change the watts link at the back so it doesn't rub on the bracket, adjustable panhard rod in the front, longer brake hoses and ABS sensor wires and drive shaft flange spacers. Axle gearing is determined by tire size and not lift height.

Funny

When I mentioned similar complications of a 3 inch lift on another thread I got quickly shot down and told it is "well documented" that ther is no issue with 3 inch lift.
I also mentioned driveline angle as a concern (rear shaft u joint conversion and definitely a front shaft upgrade.
I also think that 3 inch is overkill for a truck that is not going to see "real" offroad use
