With my shop vac and tail pipe no duct tape was needed. The shop vac hose fit snugly enough inside the tailpipe.

maybe I'm the only one with a bashed in tailpipe? lol I would certainly need tape. I need to weld a new tip on as well....also should check for where my leaks are..some good simple ideas here.

@Jason_B I did this with a leaf blower and sprayed down the entire exhaust and SAI. It was no problem except I had to come back and do a second round a week later.
