Truth be told, me, l'd get some of that Flex Seal tape, in black, and lay a nice even strip down that crack, done well enough...it would most-likely look factory. Plus, it would allow for expansion and contraction...but, that's me.

A lot of good advice so far from other members here. Your Dll is in nice shape and has a lot to offer, but in my mine...to crest that 10K mark...it needs some of the issues mentioned addressed. Nashvegas is pretty spot-on...make those repairs mentioned and you may get your investment back and more. The headliner investment is a must in my book, redone, game changer on appearance of interior.

Personally, sometimes, l believe aftermarket/off-road accessories hurt these Dll's on resale. They limit the prospective client range...and give the impression that it was driven off road. To a true rover enthusiasts, no biggy, but to the masses...sometimes gives the wrong impression.

Is the CDL linkage installed? If you detail the heck out of it and fix the headliner...ask for 9,000...probably worth around 7-8....

Thank you all for the input! Unfortunately, no CDL installed. Honestly just looking to sell as is so I'll probably start at $10k and move from there. I did remove the stickers so thanks for pointing those out. If I had more time I would consider doing all the headliner and plastic pieces but I've got a cross country move quickly approaching and have other things with the house and such I need to take care of first. Thank you gents!

Interesting vehicle... Looks like an S (base) model but it has leather and the high line audio system.

Here in California many list for well over $10k. I have seen listings for up to $19.5k for a '02, but lower miles. Did you check Carfax for HG repair?

A sucker will pay $10-12k for it. It's worth $6-8k.

Yeah this is the problem with asking Disco nuts: we’re a bit more grounded in reality because we know the costs of repairing them. That said, a neophyte is likely to pay considerably more for it.

i would suggest you increase the curb appeal a bit more. Full detail and redo the headliner. People don’t want to “see” the problems their buying and a trashed headliner sticks out like a sore thumb.

I think if you do those two things and there is no frame rust, you can get 10-12 for it. My two cents.

I'd recommend holding onto it. The rovers are at that point land cruisers were at back around 2005 to 2010. The rover classics have taken off in price but the discovery is hit or miss depending on mileage/condition. It's only a matter of time before most of the gems are gone and then the price for any shape/condition sky rockets.
