on the third row seats, the passenger side will not open up to the open position. The seat comes out from the side storage fine, locks into floor fine, but when you try and pull it up to put it in the full open position it is "locked".

Any ideas?

 

yeah mine do that too, you kinda have to put weight on top of the seat to make SURE its latched to the floor properly before the mechanism lets the seat back come up via the handle, its a tricky game to play.

 

Might appear to be locked to the floor, but the latch isn't completely engaged. Look under the seat, get familiar with the works and apply some light lube as needed. Still might have to slam it down to the floor a bit harder than you've been doing.
