Okay. Put it all back together with the rewired switch.
So far so good.
Only been a few blocks in town, but feels good and no amigos.
Going to take it into a garage with the better reader than mine and get them to reset everything. And see how it goes from there.
Thanks everyone for the support on this. It’s what makes this forum so great!

There is a bright side to that piece breaking. In the future someone reading this will be aware of that hopefully and they will learn from your misfortune. They cant always go smoothly.

Yeah, that what I would hope. I'm kind of wondering if there's somewhere in the stickies I should be adding that you should reassemble that face plate as soon as you pull the shuttle valve part.
Actually. Just read over the instructions and I can't see why the modulator side needed to be removed at all.
Am I wrong?

You're right, don't have to remove the modulator at all if you're going with option B.

You do not have to touch that part to perform Option B.

Yeah, I didn't understand why you removed that part. Seems like a self-inflicted injury.

I was following the instructions on
https://landroverclubvi.weebly.com/abs-mod.html

But, yes in retrospect.
