Three Amigos - Soft Codes
Hello All - Purchased the 2001 Disco with all the lights except oil and battery lit. Was able to get all lights off by replacing the battery except for the three amigos. Had a friend read and clear the following codes -
Active Faults - None
Logged Faults -
020 - No Battery Supply Voltage
045 - Rear Left Sensor Output Low
- Rear Leftt Sensor Output Bad
114 - Shuttle Valve Electric Failure
The light remained off for four day (150 Miles) Today we had rain so I locked the wheels to see if it really work and it did. Next I made the wheels spin from a stop light and the TC Light lit. After then I entered the highway and about 2 miles later the three amigos appeared.
After work, I started the truck and they was gone, but my friend read the code again and this time I only got the Shuttle Valve Electric Failure.
I'm Assuming that I need to do the shuttle valve repair - Option B but I wanted to see what others thought the issue might be.
Thanks All...

yeah i would start with the shuttle valve repair.... looks like you have a rear left hub or abs sensor to do as well. i just buy used ones. if you get a used one for $70 you can buy nearly 6 of them for the price of one new hub.
First, go get the codes cleared and read them again, always have to do it twice to make sure what are real needed repair codes.
If you get the module again then do both of Josh's repairs and make sure to get the kit from Falcon works in Arizona so you have the needed o-rings. After doing the repair, do a 2 quarts flush using Castrols synthetic DOT 4 brake fluid.
At that point drive it id the speed sensor shows up again, remove and clean it before just buying a new one cause they get dirty and the air gap can slip.

I have a list of codes for a 99 disco II do you have any idea where I can check out what they are ..... 1304, 0401, 0503,1606,6c,4f and d3 ---- I think they are for the ABS and Traction Control but can not find specific info.
Follow what Mike has already said but if the 3 Amigos return check out this post as it is probably the root cause along with and wheel ABS sensors showing up. All/most D2's suffer from the WABCO ABS shuttle valve issues at around 100K+ miles which throws up the classic Amigo fault codes.

I recommend the modification B as it a better long term fix.
