Throttle body heater leaking??

Default Throttle body heater leaking??

Took Disco Mikes advice & bypassed heater, Living in North Carolina is it ok to leave the bypass?? Thanks and any info on this would be greatly appreciated.

Tell them why and then explain why ours is nearly the only other engine that has this sort of a device and how come all the other vehicles don't have problems with not having it.

It prevents throttle body icing when driving in cold humid conditions.
Lots of engines have them, more do than that do not.

Sure a lot of people in Colorado that have by-passed them cause of the reoccuring leaks and so far I haven't heard of anyone in the club that froze up their t/body.

Thumbs up Bypassing Throttle body heater

Ok I did the bypass surgery today so far so good. I will keep an eye on it put some new 5/16 hose from reseviour to the throttle body also put copper ubend to bypass throttle body heater. Thanks for your advice on it.

All my Honda's had them.
