So if I'm interpreting RTONDER's post correctly, it may take a little bit of driving for the new atfluid to settle in but what I used is okay. Please let me know if I should change it to something else. And thanks.

The MaxLife should work fine. I bought 6 quarts of MaxLife synthetic and a ZF filter kit. I didn't get an ounce over 5 quarts into the transmission. I had a steady flow coming out in Park and Neutral with just 5 but I will re-check it again this week. I'm hoping that my 3-4 shift in the mornings will be fixed now. Guess I will find out tomorrow
