Default Ticking from Instrument Console

I don't have any lights flashing but am getting a tick from the instrument console. I recently removed the SRS system and have the indicator light on for that (have not pulled LED or reprogrammed). That light is steady on so it didn't seem to correlate with a tick.

Does anyone think the ticking is from the SRS disablement or are there other suggestions.

Thanks
Matt

There is a vent on the dash for the electrics under the dash.
It is a small vent on the left side of the steering wheel, there is a small fan, like for a laptop, dust and crap can get stuck in there.
I dont think it has to do with the SRS.
Did it start after you unhooked the airbags?
Oh, wait a minute, the fan in the dash is only on DII's, you do not say which you have.

Why did you remove the SRS, do you know, that if you are in an accident, your insurance company may not cover any injuries to you or your other riders.

My bad, SLS - the self leveling system.
It is for a Discovery II, I will check out that fan.
Thanks
Matt
