Default Timing cover leaking oil

Just got done replacing timing cover, oil pan and crank seal. Two days. Finished it up today started up and everything seemed good up till the water fall of oil that came pouring ot of the front harmonic balencer area. What did i miss. Torqued everything to spec. And cleaned all surfaces. Used rtv and made sure i put everything where it came from. Need help.
Thanks

Yep, & try a quality CORTECO crankshaft seal ERR6490G.
The other problem you can run into is if the Harmonic Balancer Shaft is deeply grooved/scored.
Then it can be sleeved with a Redi-Sleeve or replaced.

I just did this with success. https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...lew-out-94128/

EDIT: I also added a tiny piece of RTV into the keyway of the pulley in order to seal it, so oil cannot leak through the keyway. So far 400 Miles driven with the new seal and HB pulley and absolutely no leaks.

Going to check everything again. Thinking it could be the crank seal might have been tweaked due to the location of the oil leak or i missed tighting down a bolt. At least everything is clean so i kinda can see the general area were it is coming from. The location is right above the oil filter mount so i couldnt get a good look. Checked the oil cooler lins and didnt see oil coming from either one.
