Default Tip for removing coolant pipe that goes into intake manifold?

SUPER stuck in there. Safe to torch and heat the manifold around the pipe?

I would probably do it but very cautiously. The aluminum will expand more than the steel so you may not need a lot of heat.

How about using a heat gun instead of a torch? 🤷🏼‍♂️

Sorry for the slow response, I’ve been gone for a few days. I would for sure try a heat gun.

Why remove it? I think I left it attached to the manifold when I replaced the headgaskets on my truck 11½ years ago.

There is an o-ring in there that can rot out and cause a leak. Mine was also very stuck but I carefully wiggled it loose with a rubber mallet.
