Default Tip for removing coolant pipe from manifold

I need to take off the upper manifold and rocker covers this week.

Is there a tip for removing the pipe that carries the coolant from the manifold to the hose that takes it to the heater core?

Is it pressed fit in there? So just pull out or is there a trick to it?

Thanks,

The pipe is held in the manifold by a flange that is bolted directly underneath where the pipe enters the manifold. The fitting is sealed with an O-ring that you'll likely want to replace with a new one. Lube the O-ring with engine oil or Vaseline before reinstalling the pipe. You can pick up one from the dealer, or I have an extra I can drop off to you.

Replace the stud with a bolt when you reinstall. This way you will not have to remove pipe going forward
