Default Tips on removing the last two bell housing bolts

I have all of the bell housing bolts removed on my 2000 Disco II except for the ones that would be at about 10:00 and 2:00 on a clock face...

I've removed the motor mounts and have allowed the engine to tilt forward in the engine bay and the top two were easy to remove. It appears impossible to get to these last two from below, but I can't seem to get a good angle on them to get them loose from the top side either.

I've already removed the torque converter bolts and all other bell housing bolts. These final two are all that remain and then I can pull the motor.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated...

did you try and and remove them before dropping the motor? The only ones i remember having trouble with were the two top ones before dropping the motor.

I tried, but couldn't seem to get to them. Did you access them from below, or from up top? Any special tool? The ones that are at about 3:00 and 9:00 I was able to access with a 3' extension and a swivel adapter and my 13mm socket. The one on the passenger side at 2:00 also has some type of a bracket attached to it also, which makes access that much more difficult...

Take off the engine mounts and the transmission mounts maybe.
So, you can let the engine drop and that may make room to get a mirror in there and finally a socket on extension.

Probably easier from the top if you can make a large enough gap.
